Torso

I bought this mannequin torso a few years ago for displaying my T-shirt designs and Jewelry but the other day decided to transform it into it's own piece of art. Covered in Maori design to fit my other works I've been working on to form a collection of artwork I'm left wondering whether I need to add to the design. I'm going to leave it for a while and see what I come up with. I do have an idea of what to do but am unsure at present.

I might wrap or cut a white gauze "shirt," with long, slim gauze arms to sit on a table in which this torso is the centerpiece and the gauze floats out and around it to make an interesting table cloth, with the white gauzy material placed artfully about, as the (uneven) hem of the table. (the table underneath might be a medium-warm rough-hewn wood, in contrast to the smooth form and its gauze garment. You might consider a small, sand-colored, curvy vase for a barely-there, artful (that word again!) weed arrangement. And with this, I think I will go lie down. I'm not well, you see. I'm morphing into Martha Stewart. ( : >
